wedding in Syros: Nicole & Vasilis

In this post we’re revisiting the wedding of Nicole & Vasilis in Syros. Back when the Cyclades were under Venetian administration Ermoupolis, the port and main town of Syros, was built up to become the capital of their Grecian world. That’s where the impressive classical architecture stems from, even including a small reproduction of the Scala theatre in Milan at the island’s Apollon Theatre.

In this romantic setting we found Nicole and Vasilis and their small yet joyous wedding entourage, and an impressively detailed and floral design to match the location. It’s certainly a destination worth considering, especially given that Syros still has not succumbed to a mass tourism (with the exception of August of course).
