We come in ones and twos, discreetly and never ‘in your face’. A single shooter if possible, two if necessary. For an elopement or a small intimate wedding just one of us is enough, especially if you are both getting ready at the same location or nearby. Many couples prefer this and us too, we don’t want to get in the way because it’s your day.

But sometimes bringing a second shooter covers it best. Don’t worry, our approach is still compact and our gear always mindful.

Yes! In fact we’ve been doing that since we started documenting weddings in 2011.

The highlights video is a 4-6 minute retelling of your event’s most moving moments on film. But some of those moments lend themselves more to being still images. We’re constantly observing, and because it’s easy to switch our hybrid cameras between modes, we love capturing a mixture of video and photos. These can then be delivered separately, or can also be incorporated into your highlights video.

For most intimate events this can be a great all-round option, but for full wedding coverage we still suggest you hire a dedicated photographer to capture every detail.

How do we say this nicely without offending anyone…?

Short answer: No, we don’t.

In the fields of photography and videography, we are visual documentarians. We are neither influencers nor Youtubers.

In fact, Cycladic Films are not on any social media platform at all. This is a conscious decision, because we don’t feel the need to feed the Attention Industry. And we don’t see your wedding as “content”. It is a personal and emotional occasion which deserves to be told lovingly through visual means, not treated as slop for big tech algorithms and, ultimately, ad revenue.

Your wedding story belongs to you alone. And once we deliver, you can do with your images and videos whatever you like (except monetise them for commercial use, that’s in the contract).

We keep it simple and transparent starting with a half-day rate option covering 5 hours at €2,500 (incl. VAT) plus expenses. We’ll send you our full price list in reply to your first email, if we’re available for your date.

We have various projects throughout the year including for TV and film productions, although this sector has lately been going through hard times. Because we love working with all the talented people in this industry, we decided to introduce a special rate for artists and creatives.

If you or your partner are creative professionals - musicians, filmmakers, actors, costume designers, set designers, painters, sound technicians, MUAs, camera operators, script supervisors, stills photographers, VFX artists, writers and so on - let us know and we’ll tell you about our wedding deal which includes, but is not limited to, travel expenses in Europe.

The creative process is precious to us, and so we only take on a small number of weddings per year. This way you get the best of us, and ultimately see the best of you.

Send us an email with an introduction to yourselves, your date(s), location, and wishes. If we’re available for your date we’ll send you our price list to choose your options from. In our 14-year experience of collaborating with couples, we get along best when we’ve met (online) at this point. It also helps you know who we are.

Finally a signed contract and a booking deposit will seal the deal.
